We have immediate openings for 1st and 2nd shift Mill Production Operators at our state-of-the-art feed mill in New Haven, Vt.
1st Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:00 am to 2:30 pm
2nd Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday 2:30 pm to 12:30 am
Our ideal candidates must be able to lift 50+ lbs.; work 10-hour shifts, be active for extended periods of time, have attention to detail, be able to function independently and as a member of the team, have good organizational and basic math and computer skills. Forklift/tractor/front end loader experience a plus.
The Mill Production Operator works on a team of 4-5 individuals to manufacture bulk animal feed. Responsibilities include loading trucks, operating our automated production system, maintaining adequate inventory in bins and hoppers for the needs of the shift, and picking bags for delivery to farms. Additional responsibilities include accurately receiving product into the mill from external delivery companies.
